Education is the backbone of a society, hence, the first revelation of Quran began with the command of reading, emphasising on seeking knowledge. Beacon Institute intends to impart knowledge through organising appropriate courses in different Islamic sciences. Diploma in Teaching Tajweed and Islmaic Studies

How will the course be delivered?

  • Structured Learning: The course has been specifically designed to cover the classically studied subjects of Deen and Shariah, providing a balanced and comprehensive understanding of Aqida and Fiqh.
  • Practice-Based Quran Learning: A complete ‘Practice-based’ method is used throughout all levels. A strong emphasis is given to the practical implementation of Tajweed rules in actual recitation of the Quran
  • Discussion-Based Learning: Participants are encouraged to develop their thinking through discussion with classmates and interaction with course instructors throughout each module. The ‘Advanced Teachers Training’ is not simply a collection of lectures.
  • Developing critical thinking: The ‘Advanced Teacher Training’ doesn’t just give you the answers, but more importantly it provides the tools to navigate your Deen and daily interactions in society. Instructors don’t just deliver information, but require participants to think and question for themselves.
  • Spiritual and not just Academic: The course combines the academic areas of Aqida, Fiqh, Shariah and Tajweed with the vital spiritually uplifting aspects of Islam. Both are key to understanding and experiencing the Deen correctly.
